What engine, transmission, and drivetrain?
Hi Guys
Just want to check what all needs to be done for the 60k Service, I have a friend who is a mechanic(Really Good), and he is going to give me a hand doing the service on My Tiguan for no charge, only I need to find out what needs to be check and changed according to the VW Dealer, want to use it as a check list.
Thanks Guys

Should be either 6 speed auto or 7 speed DSG.
If DSG you need to change the DSG oil, auto ????
Suggest taking you VIN and ringing/going to your VW spare parts as you'll likely need to get the specialised transmission oils etc there as you won't find them at Supercheap/Repco.
They should be able to tell you everything that you're going to need.
Get a quote and at least that way you can shop around/online if you really want to. ECS (forum sponsor) can supply service kits with tools that you'll need.

60k would be:
oil + oil filter
fuel filter
spark plugs
dsg fluid + filter
and if it is 2 years then also:
brake fluid
pollen filter
As said above, you will need a tool to fill up the DSG correctly and will need to follow the correct procedure. Apart from that, it is all straight forward work.
Thanks Guys will look into that,
Yeah just check whether you have DSG or auto.
DSG is 7 speed and auto is 6 speed in the AWD models.
In 2012 there were a mix of both in the 132TSI. Just check the gear lever if it is a DSG it'll have DSG written on it - big giveaway

Hi Guys
I guess it is 6 Spd Auto, my bad haha, it is 4motion, thanks for the advice
getting it chipped soon cant wait,
I recently changed DSG fluid on my 2011 147tsi, did it at 50k, now again at 105k. I made a youtube video that may help you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faPq5QrR8yI
use in conjunction with https://youtu.be/nhE19GCXlvA (much better than mine)
Basically you can change yourself, just measure exactly what oil comes out, add a bit for whats in filter plus waste, when refilling i fill from top much less mess (see video)
Only trick is getting oil temp to between 35-45 to check fluid level, run car for about 10mins shifting gears. Drop some oil into a glass and use a digital cooking thermometer, It's pretty accurate within a few degree's. Cheaper than VCDS diags. I drained 4.2l, (plus filter) added 5.0l, leveling fropped another .5l.
Make sure you give dealer your VIN to order correct parts as i originally got a filter cartridge for a GTI which was about 30mm shorter than mine. Hope this helps someone.
How much comes out is irrelevant. Always put all 5L in, and let the excess drain out via the level tube when running. Oil temp is not that critical.
Filling via the oil filter port is painfully slow. Better off buying, or making the filler tool.
