    3x kids seats

I've hopped over here as someone mentioned the Tig has a rather wide rear seat, over in a Touareg thread.

Friends of ours have a 4yo and are expecting twins, and have asked me for some suggestions to replace their current vehicle. They really don't want a "van" but need 3 across kid seats.

So, does anyone have a Tiguan and have fitted 3 kids seats?

No ... but I know it can be done with the Safe n Sound compact car seats.

However they are only forward facing and no good for newborns obviously.

But I do have a friend with the same situation as yours and has done it with a Q7.

Pricey ... but definitely do-able with no dramas.

Whilst we haven't tried with 3 baby capsules, we regularly use 3 child booster seats across the back. It's very tight but do-able. By 3 booster seats I'm talking about the full toddler versions, like these:

Not sure if it is a different model but we've got a Safe n Sound Compaq, its definitely reversable / rear facing and forward facing so suitable from birth.

For your friends with the twins, recommend the Baby Jogger City Select pram. Its great, we've got one, it can have two seats or just one, its a full size pram with plenty of storage, but packs down really small.

We just got back from a long road trip from Sydney to Bright. Pram stowed behind passenger seat in front of baby seat. Took floor out of boot, took foam surround of spare wheel out, put spare wheel on side. The boot was then HUGE. Swallowed all our stuff for a week away, didn't even slide seats forward and didn't have much junk in the back seat.
