2015 Tiguan Opinions

I'd be more than happy with the 2015 132TSI, hopefully I can find a decent deal toward the middle of the year.
I'm hoping I can get it down enough to get that stage 1 tune sorted on the ASAP.

Would the 132TSI come with those lovely thin led lights, or are they extra?
(I can't keep up with all the fancy upgrades).

Also, in terms of finding a new set of wheels, is it hard to find a decent pair for a Tig's stud pattern/wheel dimension etc?

LED tails are extra and only available as an aftermarket fitment. Unless you can convince your dealer to order them in and fit them for you of course!

There's a number of options available overseas that haven't made it here even as options and the only thing you can do is buy the parts from overseas and fit them locally.

Re wheels the Tig fitment is a little more aggressive than the Golf but Scirocco wheels fit the Tig pretty much interchangeably. There are also quite a range of Audi wheels that will fit on a Tig as well as a bunch of aftermarket options.

I'd generally run the car in before sticking on a tune but that's just me. Make sure there's no warranty issues before you go nuts

valid point in regard to 'running the car in' before the tune. I'll take that onboard for sure.

Wouldn't think the scirocco' would be interchangeable with the Tig. That's good to know. I'll be super keen on a dark set of wheels if I go ahead with the white Tig. Make sure you keep a lookout for me!

In terms of LED lighting I hope the front lights are equipped with them. I love that look, not sure what the tail lights look like though, might bring it up with the dealer at the time ...

LED DRL are only available with bi-xenons which currently is not even an option unfortunately. They cut this off the options list with the MY15 "update" which is a bit of a pity as the cost of retrofitting is about twice as much as ticking the options box. Fingers crossed they either offer as standard or at very least an option for MY16.

Check the wheel thread as there are quite a few ideas in there for wheel options on a Tig.
