I prefer the existing front to the one on the 2012 Tig. If you ask me the design team have come up with a cheaper manufacturing approach, with less chrome to cut costs, and probably a more simplified manufacturing process.

Looks like the price hasn't changed much, pretty sure i paid that amount for my 2010 125TSI manual. But it included comfy pack & was drive-away.
Wonder if they will knock a couple of grand off the auto if DSG unavailable?

I think the prices are the same. Although they are including things such as; Bluetooth and MDI as standard.

Same price as DSG but you get some extras as compo - park assist, front fogs and comfort pack from memory

Can anyone else confirm if this is the case? Are these now standard?

That's what the dealer told me, too: Bluetooth and MDI as standard.

Bluetooth and MDI standard across range

Only the 132tsi pacific model has the extras instead of DSG

Love it how all the reviews and articles all refer to "new" engines in the 2.0TSIs ..... idiots ....

The "new" 2.0TSI Tiguans all still have exactly the same engines as the "old" Tiguans, the ECU's have just been tweaked a bit .... essentially a mini remap just like aftermarket tuning .....

Also, always funny as to how the 155TSI now have the GTI Mk6 engine, which it has always had, even before the MK6 GTI was released 147TSI and 155TSI is mechanically identical .... and still not realising/mentioning that ALL the 2.0TSIs are in fact identical mechanically....

Are these journalists really that ignorant or do they just believe the BS VW is feeding them without checking the facts ......

Apart from that, I do like the new front end more than the old 1. Still a brilliant small SUV and with BT and MDI now standard across the range even better.

Best buy at the moment IMO is the 132TSI Pacific Manual ....
