seriously considering if I should wait.... grrrrrr
I actually prefer the current Tig front end, it's more unique and sportier. The rear end on the other end...love the LED!!

I was just told 3rd quarter this year by a contact and VW Camberwell. They are taking pre orders subject to pricing.

3rd quarter is sooner than expected.

Hopefully, we'll see an improvement on the quality of the interior trim, at least to the Golf's level.

A change of rear lights, but still boring looking at the rear end, and I agree with 99Reza, I much prefer the current front end - in fact if you put the two side by side and asked me which was the newer model, I'd pick the old one.

Why is it that Audi can produce such sensationally good looking cars and suv's and VW are so sensationaly plain (except the front end of the current tig). Even the CC still just misses. Why?

the general view from Audi/VW staff is: , it's done to upspec the audi, as they want us (VW people) to move up to Audi at the next level.

I like that new look and starting to regret that I didn't wait.

Yeah me too... I was still deciding whether I should wait or not, but Oct/Nov seems awfully far away...

hmm, probably does work like that too - but then there are lots of other alternatives out there that aren't VWAG's when you get to that level too.

2012 VW Tiguan Revealed Further | Motorward

So far Volkswagen had only released three images of the new facelifted 2012 Tiguan. Now apparently they found some spare time and took the car out for a photoshoot. It does look good.

Getting closer to the Touareg style, means the Tiguan has become more manly and muscular and therefore more sporty. The car gets a revised range of TSI and TDI powertrains as well. The petrol powered engines offer 90 kW / 122 PS and 155 kW / 210 PS and the diesels 81 kW / 110 PS to 125 kW / 170 PS. They’re all fitted with BlueMotion and start/stop technology for maximum efficiency.

What’s more you can order VW’s 7-speed dual-clutch DSG for the Tiguan as well which enhances the fuel economy even further.

The Tiguan is more of a city crossover and you can’t expect off-road capability equal to the Touareg from it. Still, it’s not that afraid of rough surfaces thanks to XDS differential or Track and Style off-road package that adds items like underguards. It is also well equipped with latest high-tech stuff such as fatigue detection, Lane Assist and Dynamic Light Beam Assist.

2012 Volkswagen Toguan has a starting price of 24,175 Euro.
