2011 vs 2012 Model Tiguan

On the cusp of placing an order for a Tiguan.

Spec: 125TSI DSG, metallic, sunroom, comfort pack and bluetooth.

Up until today had been looking at 2011 models as hadn't been able to find out when the 2012 model will be released in Australia. However, today I've been offered a face-lift 2012 model (same spec) for the same price ($42k).

BUT - delivery is not until the end of November 2011.

Does anyone know if consistent prices between 2011 and 2012 models is good, should the same spec 2012 be cheaper?

Also, has anyone been quoted earlier delivery than end of November?

I've not seen the options list for 2012, nor the spec sheet for that matter, so don't want to order the 2012 and be caught out.
