Gday guys
My car is up for the 105k service and just want to know what's the costs and what's involved . I'm happy enough to do it myself if it's only oil and filters or is there more involved in this service
Secondly I have the brake wear indicator on my MFD meaning I'm probably up for pads too , ideas on what pads are good and rough costs would be really helpful before I get ripped off
Thanks in advance
No it doesn't.
What engine is in it?

Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

Numerous Mk1 Golf diesels
Will just be a basic oil and filter service.
No timing belt to do on these.
After posting this yesterday I rang Volkswagen and was told it involved a timing belt and water pump change costing $1506
$502 for the service
And another $1100 for the brakes and rotors
I think they are taking me for a ride
Actually $1406 for the brakes 😢
