I trialled one in my tig before i changed to the ebay RNS.

Pretty decent if you want all the bits and bobs.
I didn't use them all so i went with the RNS.

I would say that the Zenec is more like Android and the RNS more like Apple for an easy comparrison.

Yeah, it does depend what you are after.

RNS suits some better, Zenec suits others better.

The main reasons why the Zenec outshines RNS in my opinion, is that it comes with Bluetooth and iPod integration (where those are expensives extras on the RNS) as well as superior audio quality, and excellent maps.

They are the reasons i went with it too, also cheap map updates that occur more frequently.
Turned out that i never really used the other options so i stuck with the RNS.

The Zenec is quite functional though and a lot more "techy"

    How is ?
"Direct connection to rear view camera" RVC made on the golf Mk6 or golf "R". The current connection of the RVC to the rear of the RNS-510 is via a rectangular mulitpin plug. The NC2010 appears not to have such a socket available.
The Car: MY20 Black Golf R Final Edition, 5 Door, Driver assistance package, Sun Roof.

    Hi,

they have a slight snag, in that you need an adaptor to connect the OEM camera to the Zenec unit.

    or

replace/substitute the oem camera with the Zenec ZE-RCE2003 camera.

I had one of these units installed in my Polo by the dealer. At the moment the MFD isn't working with the unit. Does anyone have the MFD working in a TDI? Speaking to the VW dealer, they seem to think at the unit isn't compatable with the MFD in the TDI, only the one in the GTI.
