What head unit is this?

Can anyone tell me what model this head unit is, please?

I picked up a 2006 Highline couple of days ago, has this unit in it, but the manual I've got seems to be for a 2005 model?

I want to chase down the right manual so I can get my unit going, the previous owner had not been using it, and re installed it before I bought it, so not a lot works.

An MFD (vw mfd - Google Search).

Thanks blaast, anyone have any ideas on the quality of this unit.
Like most, I enjoy good quality music (wide range), would like to maintain as much VW functionality from a head unit as possible, want to be able to connect an ipod, and have the controls up on the hu screen, want a really good sat nav (using Tom Tom at the mo).
I've heard plenty of praise for the vee dub head units, but most seem to be for the RNS510.
What would you recommend?

Haven't tracked down a manual yet (can't say I've been looking too hard though!)

I've considered fitting an RNS510, but pretty much all the ones I've seen for sale don't look like they will fit in a 2006 Multivan. And in the vehicles they say they're for Multivans never seem to be mentioned.

So is there an RNS510 with a different facia that fits Multivans?

But then next question. I've had some time to figure some of the MFD unit I've got, and have to wonder if I really need OEM.

I don't need the dash display (middle of the dash with fuel etc). I'm not fussed with the volume changing with speed. My steering wheel has no controls for the radio etc.

So unless I'm missing something important, I don't see I really need a VW unit.

What I do want is a unit with good sound (I will probably put in decent speakers, amp, cabling, deadening, maybe small sub), sat nav (comparable with Tom Tom I use now), CD, both AM and FM radio, and iPod connection. Don't need reversing camera, can take or leave DVD.

Sort of leaning towards a few Kenwood units (don't need Bluetooth).

I've read heaps through here about the pros and cons of fitting different units, but most seem intent on maintaining VW functionality. But I really don't see anything in mine I must keep.

Any ideas that can help me?
