Sat nav in 06/2006 R32

Hi guys, this is my first post so please be gentle.

I am the proud new owner of a 2006 R32 and am trying to figure out what the go is with the sat nav thats in it, its a MFD2 and I know that, but from looking around the net there seems to be multiple versions of this unit, some CD only, some DVD etc.

so my questions are:
what is the way to find out exactly what unit revision I have?
what are the latest maps I can get a CD for if it is CD only? I currently have R12 (2005)
what is my best option for getting a line in?

Put a picture of your unit online here....the answer will then only be minutes away.

There are too many alternatives out there at the moment...you may have an OEM (VW) unit, or you could have one of the Chinese "knock-offs".
