    Is this a WD6050 ?
Seems like theres so many similar ones, but with slight variations?
    Are some better than others?
They're all very similar and none are better than the others, they're all unreliable poorly built rubbish. However there is no point trying to educate people of the problems and issues with the units because as can be seen above people ignore any feedback and still purchase them anyway so go ahead and let us know how you get on at regular intervals like install (and all the problems like CAN bus, aerial interfaces etc) and 3 months (when your CAN bus gateway has failed) and 6 months (when your car battery keeps going flat because you have a CAN bus gateway module) and at 9 months (when the dodgy relay setup has caused multiple components in the car to fail) .....

There are numerous threads over at golfmkv (one is listed above) that go into hundreds of pages of people losing their money (head units not being sent back), suffering from flat batteries, having to do relay mods, not having working buttons on wheels, no radio reception, forking out hundreds to send the units back to china, putting up with loud beeps each time you press a button and so on and so forth.

Take a look at the Volkswagen head unit threads and all you see are complaints about what colour to choose for the background and how to get into the setup.

The choice is pretty clear if you're prepared to look at this objectively.

If one of you guys want to buy a Waywell, I've replaced mine with an RNS510. As Maverick stated above they are pretty poorly made and while they have a few extra inclusions and look alright, they have a few issues and zero support/information for repair.
I'm much happier with the RNS, but like I said, if one of you wants to buy it, drop me a line.

Hey mate, I might be interested.

How new is the unit? Do you know if it is a version 4?

    I'm based in Brisbane.

Haven't quite got the hang of this forum yet, but if you are able to pm me a price or some further details that'd be great.
