    Just FYI I installed the new 9W7 (5K0 035 730) build date January 2011, in a new MY11 Polo 6R TDI, along with a new RNS510 version D. This is the successor to the older 9W7 unit with part number 7P6 035 730 C. I believe it is different to the 9WZ (5N0 035 730) which also has rSAP. Thread here:

    Not sure you need to post that in every thread you post in

    That new part number in ETKA seems to be referred to as 9ZA... So yet another variation in the mix!

    Sorry mate I'm just trying to help out anyone else looking for Bluetooth+Polo, it was just so hard finding this info (calling the dealers was useless, they said the Polo doesn't come with bluetooth bla bla bla) and I basically took an expensive gamble buying all those parts crossing my fingers hoping it would work. (Especially given that non-GTI Polo's don't have highline MFD and I didn't even know if I could pair bluetooth without the MFD menu... luckily it all works super!)

    That's interesting. I wonder which is better, 9WZ or 9ZA

    Hahaha, I just googled it, looks like 9ZA is PERFECT for the 2011 Polo 6R: As per this brochure from March 2011,
    9ZA = "Bluetooth Plus"

    Eos 2008 bluetooth kit

    I have read this post for over an hour and still Can somebody help me please?
    I'm not familiar with these codes RNS510 or RCD.I have an VW Eos Aug 2008 with a colour touch screen(which works with reverse sensors) stereo(not NAV)wich has a "phone" button on LH side of the screen and SD card reader in the middle at the bottom.The MFD(I think I got this right)is red display and I have a phone button on the steering wheel also.I'm looking to buy and install a BT kit which will link to my stereo,steering wheel and MFD.I'm not keen on voice control but prefer to be able to have my contacts display either on the stereo screen or MFD.After reading this post I think this unit is the right one for me

    I would like to email to this seller my stereo details to make sure I buy the right unit.Where do I find the model number of my stereo without having to pull it out?
    Thanks

    Recently purchased the premium bluetooth kit from the Spanish guy on EBay (Bluewagen). Excellent price and kit was in my hands within a week.

    Prior to splashing out on the bluetooth upgrade for my car, got in touch with Matt and his team at Camden GTI regarding installation and they installed it for me this week.

    New unit works like a dream and can't thank Matt and Camden GTI enough for the excellent job they did installing it!

    If you're in Sydney and like me haven't the faintest idea on how to install one of these units in your car, do yourself a favour and contact Camden GTI.

    Just got mine from Spanish guy as well and will install myself and have found answers to all my questions except 1. As the kit includes the foam box, I want to mount the unit under the drivers seat. The cut-out in the carpet seems to indicate that the cable runs under the door sill, then to the back of the head unit, but I haven't been able to find any pictures on the internet, just a few passing references in regards to installs on mk v golfs, which say that the cables runs under the sill, rather than along the centre console. Just wanting to confirm the routing of the cable. Yes I know , its easier fitting the bluetooth unit behind the head unit, but I like the idea of making the install look like it was done at the factory.
