Voice controls??

Hi

I had the dealer fit an RNS510 satnav into my new Golf 3 weeks ago before delivery, and never really thought about this, but I have NO VOICE capability that I can find. Would that be right? Bluetooth and voice for talking on the phone works fine, but I cant SAY "Call such and such" and have the phone work. Likewise, I cant SAY "Play CD" etc and HAVE the CD start playing, for example, ...should I be able to?

I have a factory fitted one and the voice control isn't too good either. Don't get hung up on it and enjoy the rest of the car and unit. I know it's alot of money but it's still an excellent bit of gear.

Perhaps try saying it in German or at least with a German accent.

there are limited voice commands for the RNS510... i have found that you can tell it to start or stop route navigation etc and other simple commands... but i havent really bothered exploring how much you can control with it. I know you cant enter destinations using the voice control... which to me would be the most obvious use of it...
