    Video in Motion

Not sure if it has been discussed here before....but here it is again if it has

I just activated the video in motion on my RNS510. It is an easy mod, and works a treat (not for me...its for the passengers).
    Here is the link:
Video In Motion for US RNS-510 - TDIClub Forums

The buttons they tell you to hold down were different to mine. I held down the eject, star and setup buttons.

I can confirm also that this works. I burnt the "berto" file to a CD, inserted it into the RNS ... A few minutes later I have video in motion.

Glad I didn't spend $100+ for an electronic module to do this.

Unfortunately it didn't work for me.
Maybe I have a different firmware or it's not compatible with the LED version of the RNS?

I have also had success with the Berto VIM file. (the myCDiso did not work).

Burnt disc at 24x using Imgburn (nero didn't work properly)

Please note: when I inserted the disk it came up with CD error but it did not eject. Don't push the OK button and it will then restart and detect the CD and start the process.

Just used the Berto ISO image in my 2010 GTI and it worked flawlessly.

Took ten minutes in total including burning the ISO. Only problem encountered was a 'clamp issue' when inserting the CD which involved changing the time format to 24-hour time. The CD wouldn't work with the keys in the ignition, but installed perfectly without.

    Thanks for the tip!

    LEGEND!!

Works on mine as well. Had the clamp issue and fixed it by changing the time setting and not having the keys in the ignition as 'ithinkimightbe' advised.
