Lock it with the key in the lock, hold in the locking position and the window should close. Look at it tomorrow!

That's what I thought would work.
    However it didn't

Unfortunately I have work at 6 am tomorrow and I have I park several streets away from my workplace. So leaving it till tomorrow isn't really an option

look for fuses and loose wires, any other buggy things going on? check connectors into black boxes under the dash

do they wind up with the engine running?

So I bat off for a bit as suggested to VAG stimulant, that didn't work

So I checked all fuses, and F14 had blown this is actually the fuse for interior lights hahahaha
Random, but the problem is solved
