Tweeters for RCD200

I took my tweeters out of my 2004 build Transporter and want to fit them in my new 2009 Transporter ,because VW only fit the speakers in the doors now,...cost cutting!!!!!!
The tweeters have a capacitor fitted to each of them ,so I am wondering whether I can just wire them direct to the door speakers feed,
or do they have to go through a crossover?

Just wire them with the cap inline with the tweeter, postive side only
