Hi Folks,
Hoping someone with some tech knowledge can comment. I am pondering if it's possible to program a Touareg key (new 2013+ model) to use with my new Tiguan (mk2, 2017).
My partner and I each got a new Tiguan and I am looking at ways to differentiate our keys beyond using silicone or metal covers.
The Tig has Kessy and as such no physical ignition barrel so the shape of the Touareg key makes no difference.

If you have sold the Touareg a nice seller would have handed over all the keys to the new owner

You misunderstand. The Touareg key fobs can be had for quite cheap from China. We only carry keys, and as it stands they look face similar. I was merely looking for a creative solution.Originally Posted by Hillbilly

We have two "keys" for the Passat and one has the seat settings for me and the other for my wife who is much shorter than me.
We got given key tags when we bought it Mine has a straight bar hers has a round emblem on the chain No chance of mistaking them
Cost absolutely nothing and we know they work.
