Keen on giving the torque Pro a go (just got an HTC OneXL), so went looking for an OBDII bluetooth thingy yesterday. No luck at the usual auto electrical, electronics, auto stores (d ick's, Jcar, Supercheap, Repco)... Will one of the $15-$30 jobbies on ebay do the trick, or do i need to spend $a fair bit more to get something more dedicated?

    Thanks!

eBay is where they come from, I have used two different ones now without issue, a cheap $10 job and a slightly more expensive $33 one I'm using now that has an on/off switch built into it.

I paid about $15 for my adapter about 2 years ago (Ebay, from a forum recommendation), the chip it claims to be (ELM327) certainly isn't that when I pulled it apart, but it works 100%
