im wondering what would make the ideal system for my mk4 golf. my budget is $700. i have no experience on the topic so if you could also help me with exactly what i would need. thaks

Go down to your local audio place (JB Hi-Fi etc) and see what you can get for $700.

It really depends on what you want to listen to.
