    Question Speed Display?????

    So,

I have upgraded the firmware on my C version RNS510 to 2660 (modified), then 2680 and now it's happily running FW2720. I tried to go to FW3800, but alas, it failed on initial application...so (until I find a better source of FW3800+) I'll stick with 2720 for now.

    Maps are Australia/NZ Version 4

    Problem:

All the interwebz references for 2680 and onwards, indicate that speed limit display is enabled. So, FW has been updated, reset completed, maps reloaded and RNS has confirmed that maps have been accepted and loaded to HDD. Reset again. Go for a drive, GPS has picked up 10/10 satellites, maps show the correct area that I'm in. BUT...no speed display. I am led to believe it should be in the upper right corner, the menu selections have been correctly set to display "Speed display"....so what gives?

Also, is it the true speed of the vehicle...or the speed limit of the road/area that I am currently in?

That's only for certain countries where the map data contains the speed limits.

    Cheers Ryan,

I thought that might have been the case...but threw it out there to the masses for confirmation.
