I've got the factory dynaudio in my Golf. They come with 8 speakers in total.
The woofers are 5.7inch and tweeters are 1inch. Pretty sure the standard system doesn't have an amp.
couldnt find any info with a search.
i couldnt get a car with the dynaudio option, so i will undoubtedly go aftermarket.
im jsut trying to gather info wrt the speakers, sizing and qty in the mk6, also, is the car amped at all? if not, what amp would be ideal

so is that 5.7" speakers for fronts and rears? and i knew it was 8, but how are they spread out? i have a 3 dr gti, so how are the std speakers set out? 2 woofers in doors with 2 tweeters?
rear area has 4 speakers? how?
They have split systems 6.5 inch woofers x 4, and tweeters, approx 0.75 inch.
Depending on what you want to do, you could run a 6.5 inch split at the front, and a 5 1/4 inch split with spacers, as they are only for rear fill.
Although I am making an assumption that you will want a sub.
Blaupunkt make some cost effective Plug n Play solutions as far as amps go, although I run 2 x 4 channel Alpines in mine, bridged, so effective outputting 6 channels.
