What model and year of car?
The crossover is probably on the woofer speaker pins (4 pin connector) which then go up to tweeter.

Hi just wondering if anyone knows where the wiring splits for the seperate tweeter and woofer in the front door. I assume there are only two wire out of the Head unit (+ & -) then at some point they are split to feed the woofer and the tweeter separately.
Does this spilt take place in door or before the door. I am thinking of adding an audio processor for time alignment and not sure where the point to splice into these wires would be

Sorry that would help 2010 mk6 GTI
Probably as described above. + and - from head unit to woofer, then via a crossover (just a capacitor) up to the tweeters.

Thanks Appreciate the response!
hmm..... the wiring diagram suggests that the split happens at the bass speaker itself (it apparently has 4 pins)
