    Siri?

Hey guys was just wondering, for those lucky enough to have already received their Rocs and have an iPhone, how does the Bluetooth pairing go? Is it possible to use Siri through the car to reply to texts or give commands?
And also, is there any difference to having the phone connected via the cable in the centre console or through Bluetooth?

    Cheers

Bluetooth pairing with the 4S is perfect... no issues at all. Music over BT is fine as is the connection through the Centre console. The benefit of that is that it charges the phone as well.
I havent used Siri in the car to be honest... text messages and e-mail dont show up on the VW system.

For me, I find music that is saved on the hard drive (RNS510) has a better sound quality (slightly) than via BT or cable... but I either have it really loud... or no sound other than the Rocco being used as it should...

Siri works well, but there are also voice commands within the bluetooth system also (if you get voice dialling turned on).

Bluetooth streaming works well from an audio point of view, however the timestamp on the music when streamed over bluetooth increases by 2seconds per second (if that makes sense). What it means is that at the 2 minute mark of a song, the readout actually says 4 minutes. It also pushes the progress bar right to the finish end when the song is only half done. Pausing the music fixes it temporarily, showing the correct progress at that point in time, but then it just goes back when playing. - It's annoying that it doesn't work well, but it doesn't effect the sound quality.

If anyone knows a fix to this, please let me know - I've tested sofar in a GolfR with RNS510, and Scirocco R with RCDxxx. Same in both.
