    Single and 2-DIN Infotainment units demoed at CES2012

    Parrot Asteroid CK, Asteroid Nav, Asteroid 2DIN infotainment systems: hands-on (video) -- Engadget

    For me it's not quite "there" yet, but I'll keep an eye on future versions. Not sure if I'd go down this route or wait and see if an updated RNS system includes online features (not strictly necessary, but a nicety).

    Some stuff from Alpine:

    If anything the comments below are more interesting: use a removable tablet faceplate as the interface for the HU.
