Problem solved.
I tried to ring an auto electricain, none open on Saturday arvo. My luck.
Then I thought about Idle and AdamD's suggestions.
I went to local Repco and they had an LED Load Resistor. Hooked it up to the Brown and White wires, BINGO. All fixed. Now the car alarm even goes off when I try to "steal" the trailer.
