A2DP volume was the app I used on my S2. Doesn't seem to do anything on the S3 so I've uninstalled it and emailed the developer.

I would go back to an S2 before changing to iPhone (I've played with them at work).

Mine is only a couple of months old from carsystems.pl, 5K0035730E - one of the first with AVRCP controls.

Strange how some can't connect at all, mine connects but doesn't stay connected, and then yours is fine.


Thanks for the links MK3 but not using RSAP. I haven't checked out the 2nd one yet though.

It because they change firmware and even different brands of chipsets within the same part number, so these quirks can show up. It's a shame you can't update the firmware like the MDI and RNS510

Might be a bit too early to call, but I searched for Android updates on Monday and found one weighing in at just over 60mb on my Telstra S3 4G. Since then the phone has not failed to connect once, and connects noticeably quicker.
