    Unhappy RNS510 Version F?

    Hey Guys,

    Just looking at purchasing an RNS510 for my Golf MKVI. Discussion over the new models with faster processors have caught my attention and i've decided it's time to swap out my RCD310. However i've become rather confused over all the versions available. Eg: Version C, Version C with LED Screen and Star Button, Version D, Version F, Version G etc...
    Anyway have been in contact with an eBay seller who assures me he can sell me a Version F unit (which he says is the latest and greatest) which features the newer processor and a 40GB HDD.

    He gave me the following details...
    Part Number : 1TO035680F
    HW : HW55
    SW : 3970

    However I then saw this website...
    VWVortex.com - FS: New Very Latest Version F RNS-510 RNS510 Navigation System $1975
    Which shows what they describe as a 'Version F' unit with a completely different Part, HW and SW number so now confused.

    So is the one on eBay legit?

    I believe that the Version F doesn't work properly with Australian maps and POIs. Most of us are getting the Version C with LED Screen and Star Button (HW42, SW2xxx). Can be had for around $800 on eBay.
