Firmware data works perfect but V5 maps data load perfect but it does not shows map i think it have NZ map does not Australia Map is it works for you

It Start working. I just put maps CD to navigate and then I eject CD, now it works perfect, but maps have so many glitches.

Just a small update to this - I've noticed that the unit is funny about regions? Does anybody know if the new software changes the region of the DVD player?

And if so is there a way to unlock it?

Use VCDS to change the region. Doubt the firmware cd changes it. Those of us buying units off eBay generally have to change it from the UK region to Australia.
