RNS510 satnav.

Am picking up a new Tiguan in the coming weeks and wondering if anyone can offer advice as to what stuff i should expect to get with the satnav system?
such as software,cd's etc???

or maybe stuff i should ask for at the time?? version numbers etc???

Should come with V3 maps, a map disk and firmware version 2720

I have a GTI picked up in June 2010 with satnav (version 3). I have tried to get the speed limits to work - it is suppose to show what the speed limit on the road is - but nothing appears. Has anyone got this working?

Not working on mine but i haven't actually fiddled around with it to see if i can get it activated yet.

I wouldn't expect firmware version 2720, most likely 1200 or 2660.

V3 maps do not contain speed limits. This is a map fault rather than the RNS510 unit. Disappointing cause the latest whereis maps advertise that speed limts are included (V16 which is supposed to mirror VW Version 3). Ive found that v3 maps are up to date to 2008 9already 2 years old) and not that much better than v2 maps (note for melb users - the new westage/bolte bridge/tunnel upgrades are not even included).
