Is it possible to play video (when GTI stopped) from a SD card or I suppose an ipod or usb. I know it can play from a DVD, but copying ISO file from computer to a SD card (and also trying another one in .avi format) the MDI does not recognise or play anything except the next mp3 on th efile. What I would like is to play the music - like the DVD plays the music while driving, but music and video when stopped.

Maybe look at an aftermarket unit that has Divx support.
Otherwise you will only be able to play movies from a dvd source.
