RNS510 Part numbers

Here's one to confuse you... I had a 9w7 bluetooth module installed to replace the original 9w2 rubbish. At the same time, the guy that did the install and coding for me upgraded the software and maps (which I had suspected had never been done). He said he has put the most recent possible software on there for me.

Anyway, checked out my RNS 510 this evening to look at potentially upgrading software/maps and this is what my unit tells me..
Part #: 1T0035680D
HW-version: H03
SW-version: 3810

Based on the first post, it appears that H03 shouldn't necessarily be paired with that part number? I'm also suspecting that the head unit may have been replaced at some stage as my CC is a 2009 model and the 'D' was manufactured from 2011. If in fact it is a 'D' then can anyone tell me why my 'H' is so low?

The D got changed by the software update. Update to 5238 though is latest.

Do you think it is legit?
