    Finally VW service guy called me in today to get my V3 map updated...so happy after 4 long months wait...
    It did fixed my annoying message from before which was "No Route Recommendations for this Destination".
    Best thing was it was done for FREE but he wouldn't give me the V3 DVD...
    2010 Mountain Grey Auto 2.0TSI.
    Leather, Bi Xenon, RNS510 Sat Nav, Comfort park, Fog lights, 4% tints, Genuine VW Narrow flares.

    I don't think you can expect both.
    Edit: that is if you got the car before v3 is out and they are upgrading you for free.

    My dealer has just given me the V3 DVD (I did not get a disk when the car was delivered).

    (deleted offer to upgrade for others as this may violate licence)

    Yes, you very definitely should have got the DVD. If you did not, then go ask for it. If they don't supply, then contact VW Australia and they will handle the matter for you.

    Picked up car yesterday. V2 DVD sealed in plastic (unopened) in glove box. V3 loaded (at my request during waiting period) but no DVD given. Happy with that until a have a problem.

    Just wanted to get peoples thoughts on this. My car should be ready for delivery in about 1 - 2 weeks (arrived 31 June in Aus). I have no idea what maps/DVD i will be getting, but if i find I have v2 DVD, should I insist on the v3 DVD?

    So how can you tell what maps are installed? Is there a version number hidden away somewhere?

    Bought my Skoda 1 week ago 3/6/2010! and they supplied me Version 1!!!!!! i have called the salesmen and advised him and he just passed me onto service when we come in for the first service, I know i"ll be demanding V3 with the disks...
