RNS510 eBay and video question

Hi Guys,

Can you play video from an iPod connected with MDI or an SD card?

Also, I found sat_nav_online selling the version H RNS510 for $949 including postage. Anyone know is this is reputable? As I've been searching the forums all the eBay merchants listed no longer exist.

No you can't plat video of iPod or sd card. Only DVD will work.

Some sellers on eBay are ok but you need to research them and check feedback.

I bought my RCD510 off ebay from vw_parts_aus. Not sure if he sells RNS510's but he was a very nice guy, trustworthy, and installed it for free.

Or have a look at the ANS810. Looks similar to the RNS but is one of the better non-genuine units that has more features.

All depends on what you're after, the bugs are minor and I haven't run into one for months on my unit. Navigation on the other hand I've used often, and I'd much rather my iGo.

Now when the new generation comes out I'd really have something to show off...

I bought my RNS510 C model off satnav_online more than 4 years ago and its still going like new. No issues with them and quick shipment. He even sent me the manual on PDF. At $950 including shipping its a bargain.

I have a AN510 in the Polo and it is good too, better than any of the other cheap satnavs from China. Only Zenec is better but cost much more. Still not as good as a RNS510 though.

I do prefer the RNS510 in all aspects and at $950, I'd rather pay that bit extra.
