Anyone know where the 28xx series firmware can be downloaded? I can't find it in the usual places...
I'm going to go back to where I can use the stock POIs and will add my own via ye olde ISO method. But want to at least be running current production firmware.

Have now reverted to 2760 with v4 maps and a test sample of custom POIs added to the ISO. Added all fixed cameras as well as school zones in NSW. Will see how I go with those and see if its worth adding any other categories.

What sort of categories do people find useful? There seem to be a whole heap of business specific categories as well as the usual recreation stuff like boat ramps etc but I'm not sure how useful any of those would be when these days you can look them up on your smartphone and punch the address into your GPS...

I did the same — offered $35 gross (no postage) and it's said to be on its way. Don't expect the ad to be up for long...

this v4 'update' must be legit, as whereis sensis now states on their website that there is an v16 map update.
so:-
v3 (vw) = V16 (sensis)
v4 (vw) = V16 DX (sensis)

sensis wants $199 for the update!!
at $40 for the ebay version, dats a bargain!!

I think you will find this link is for the CD version for the older RNS-2 Sat Navs you had in the early Golf V, not much good for the RNS510 as they are from a different OEM.
