Well Sensis got back to me and this is their reply and I quote;

Yeah, so that confirms my thoughts. Their versions are only for the pre-RNS510 sat nav systems.

how can there be an update when wheris/sensis themselves have said for a while now that there is no update (v17) for vw/audi?!?!?
the next one, v18 (or 'v4' in vag speak), is not due out till q4 2011, or q1 2012!!

this "v4" is most likely someone who has probably made some additional custom POIs and categories, re-created the DVD, and given it a new version.

But I think what Corey_R is saying is right!

Maps direct from Sensis are for the MFD2 units.

The fact that they mentioned CD in their response is a dead giveaway!

hi all , myself and my brother when half each ($50) in purchasing this v4 off the mentioned ebay seller , did EFT and he posted no worries , i now have it installed in my RNS510 vD , now before i installed i went into the setup secret menu and looked under nav and it stated that v3 is 7004 (something like that cant remember) now the ebay v4 in the setup secret menu under nav shows as 7603 don't hold me to that number as doing off my head ! now i have a my10 MK6 118tis with the MFD2 and my bros got a RNS 510 vD in a my05 MK5 tdi with the MFD1 so i will get together with him this weekend and compare the two and see if i can get POI's woking ! so ill report back and let you know what i find , also as im still new to this if any one has anything they would like me to try within reason to this v4 disc just let me know and ill do my best cheers

All I want for Xmas is confirmation that this v4 disk has working POIs when running firmware (FW) version 3810 or higher on a RNS510 (a.k.a. MFD3) unit.

You will find what FW version both your RNS510 are on via the secret menu.

Hopefully all above FW version 2760 (being D units) and with working POIs.
