RNS-510 Video inputs / Camera inputs

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere but I have searched around without finding a clear answer.

I have an RNS-510 headunit and was interested in getting both a rear camera AND front camera.
My question is about what the number and type of video inputs are to the RNS-510 unit? Will I be able to connect these 2 inputs with the available connections of the unit? I dont have any other connections like TV or anything just want the 2 cameras. Do I need to buy any additional connectors or modules to run these or do they just plug and play into the RNS-510??

My RNS510 has a single cinch connector for the video input — I don't think there's any other way to connect video to it.

Frankly, I can't see anything really worthwhile in a front camera (front sensors, maybe, for when you must park really close to a wall or something.)

I think it would very handy for the times when you are pulling out and can't see clearly(or at all) due to obstacles. The BMW 5 series has front cameras mounted on the corners New BMW 5 Series Sedan 530d Surround View Camera - YouTube

you could easily get away with one camera and face it slight to the right, so that it does pretty much the same thing as the BMW.

there are other options to get this type of setup - but it would be much more elegant to have to output to a RNS510 / RDS510 already there.

Question is - can it recieve both a front and rear input? and how would it know when to engage the front camera (the rear will automatically start when in reverse).

The design of the cars (a lot of cars actually) means they aren't visible. I just switch my headlights on if it is tight...
Oh, and for a cheaper option, I've seen these little aerial things on camrys...

I have thought about front and rear camera hook up... The System uses RGBY video Input, not you strandard Yellow Pal plug input, you will need some way or switching a 4 wire video input like a relay and your trigger to switch from front to back can be either D mode in Auto or Unswitched Reverse switch in Manual. Switching the camera on is just taken care by the built in system... you are now just auto switching between 2 cameras depending what gear you are in or not.
