    RNS 510 Version Differences

    Hi All

Apologies if this has already been covered but i couldnt find anything.

I am wanting to upgrade to the RNS from the RCD, but im a bif confused over all the different versions and if it is worth while paying top $$ for the most recent version which i believe it now version H.

Does anyone know of the difference of Versions D-H? or what tends to be the changes form one to the next. I believe D was the first to have the LED screen and F & H now have voice recognition but I dont want to spend an extra $200-$300 for the latest version when there was no difference between it and its previous one

    Any help/suggestions would be apprecaited.

C units were the first with LED backlit displays.
All are capable of voice control with the mic plugged in and coded.
Later versions had newer firmware and maps installed from the factory (for Europe) but other than the change to a 40GB hard drive and a faster processor (makes for faster route calculation, SLIGHTLY faster update rate on the screen) there are not big changes.
So anything rev D or above would work well.

Yeah they're all 97% the same, just a couple of tiny refinements - probably not worth the extra $200 some people charge for them.
