    does anyone know anywhere in sydney that would do the install of this if i ordered one from europe? and approx how much is the install cost?

    im too much of a wuss to do my own install haha

    Maybe give European Autotech a call? Any good car audio shop could install it (like FHRX).

    Installed by mobile service in Sydney (he came to my work)
    had vagcom with him so made all the changes to get the unit working perfectly. understand he installs for the local VW dealerships but they charge substantially more than he does.

    I would sincerely hope so... unless he's offering other services over and above those described here...

    Seriously, the unit is about $700 - $750 to buy, so $100 - $140 to install is fair - it's a very quick install.

    ah ok awesome, so definitely a much better option than the factory "non-premium" bluetooth offered by VW
