    RNS-510 Help!

    Hi,

I have uploaded some music on my RNS-510 and i lost my phone and hence lost my music.

Is there a way i can copy the music from my RNS-510 so i can install it back on my new phone?

    Thanks!

Dont think so Had you been wise and used an SD card you would have had a copy. Only way and I dont know if its possible is see if you can copy from the HDD to an SD card I have 6000 tracks on a card and several 000 on the HDD but have only copied from the SD to the HDD and its Verrrrrrry slow to do it.

Read the manual It only gives options to copy TO the HDD I just went out and tried and it wont do it.

You can look through the list on the HDD write them down and reassemble them on your phone,Then you make a folder on your computer and load them in there for next time.

I really dont know but Kamold may know. I understand the HDD is formatted in an unusual way. I certainly wouldnt be pulling a $2000+ piece of equipment to bits no matter what music was on it. If you wrote the contents down Im sure a few hours on the internet will get it all back for you. A lesson learned eh.

The music partition is FAT. It can be read in a PC. There is no ability to copy from hdd to sdcard on the rns, only SD to hdd and SD to SD.

Yep that's what I said. You'll need a USB to PATA case or a PATA cable to motherboard.

You said it can be read.
