I would say that would work, assuming they have the pinouts correct on it.
Hi guys,
Is there an EASY way to get hold of a simple 3.5mm adapter cable to utilize aux-in on the RNS 510?
Would something like this work:
3.5MM AUX INPUT CABLE FOR iPOD MP3 VOLKSWAGEN VW A50 - eBay (item 360280329905 end time Feb-06-11 17:44:52 PST)

I've been searching high and low, and there are a few threads in the US about switching pins at the back etc, but nothing definitive about a simple cable that you can buy, plug into the back of the RNS510 and the other end into a 3.5mm female socket?

For $15 shipped it's probably a worth while risk/reward assuming your comfortable putting it in yourself.
Otherwise I'd be asking the local dealership for a quote to get a factory unit installed as well as a local audio installer what they could provide a connection for.
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you. | Refer a Friend - AussieBroadband $50 Credit
