    Retrofit RVC on mk6 golf

    Hello

I need some help from you guys. Recently i have retrofitted highline rvc to my mk6 golf and i have an error on vcds on the calibration. I have tried all i can to calibrate it but i have a lot of different error messages when trying to calibrate it .

I would like to ask you if anyone has the dump for the module 3C0907441 where the module is calibrated and ready so i can write that dump to my module.

    Thank you!

    What exactly are the errors?
Have you tried calibration with ODIS S?

First of all i want to say thank you, kamold, for being here for the comunity! I saw that you help people all over this electronics section if you can!

I don't have the exact code right now but tomorrow i will make a scan to my module again with vcds. The error is "camera not calibrated" or something similar. It works just fine, the lines move but i have that error when i scan the car for faults.

Never tried with ODIS S because i don't have that equipment but i can remeber that a friend tried that once but it didn't work because odis couldn't identify that module for vw golf because the camera it's retrofitted and the module is from a tiguan.

The only way you can get the calibration to work is with ODIS s and the right calibration board. (Well you can copy the eeprom from a calibrated module but then it's not really Calibrated to your car properly)
In ODIS s you need to make it think that it is a Tiguan using manual vehicle selection.
No basic settings fault isn't important but if you want a clean scan with no faults you need to calibrate it.

I wanted to do this today but i saw yesterday that you have retrofitted mib2 to your PQ and now i brought a mib2 myself and i read that i need a new module and a new wire harness for the rvc to work. I hate myself for investing so much money in my car, but in the same time i love my car.

Just brought a unit with carplay code: 5C0 035 680E. Now the problem will be when trying to retrofit this new unit ))).
I just can't wait for tomorrow when the unit arrives. It will be a full week for me.
Thank you again for your disponibility and hope to hear from you soon if i get stuck with my mib2.
I will also look for a section where i can present my car during the weekend.
Looking forward to see you someday!

Yes you will need to adapt a mk7 highline module to fit in your car then you will be able to connect the new harness to you discover media.
There are also cheaper aftermarket mk7 flip badge lowliness cameras as another option.

Never retrofitted aftermarket things. OEM is the best thing i ever saw.
For a while i will deactivate rvc after installing the unit because i don't have sufficent budget to change the module and the harness for the rvc right now.
I just wonder if this adapter is what i need to plug and play the new carplay instead of my rns510, because i don't know if this is what i need

Quadlock adapter for conversion to MIB

Later edit: I don't have dynaudio and for pdc i have PR-7X2

    Hello, kamold!

I have tried to retrofit mib2 to my mk6 golf and it was unsucessful .
Got my RNS510 back and i have the same old situation with my rvc. It has a calibration error and i don't know how to calibrate the module. It works fine but i want a clean scan with vcds

The module came to my car from a tiguan and it's p/n is: 5N0907441A
Do you have any idea where can i find a calibrated eeprom and write it to my module so i can have a clean scan afterall?

You need to run calibration with ODIS s and the calibration board.
