Retrofit of Bluetooth to Golf 77TSI

    Hi All

Looking to retrofit bluetooth to the wife's 77 as we've decided to keep it longer than initially expected. As it doesn't have steering wheel controls, there isnt really a lot of integration, does this make the install any different to the 90/118/GTI etc..?

Should i just grab some random kit from autobarn instead?

    Cheers

Well you wont have MFD, steering wheel or stereo control for the phone in a 77TSI, so i would just get a sunvisor kit for the Bluetooth. We have a Supertooth unit in our Mazda and it works well. $100 or so.

You do get steering wheel controls if you have the Comfortline or GTi model. My 77tsi had mute, volume, redial, answer and hang up on the left hand side wheel mounted controls
