Wondering if anyone has had a good experience with installation of a Parrot bluetooth system in Brisbane?
K.
Car is in today at Autobarn being fitted with the Pioneer AVIC-HD3 + a car alarm.
Both systems need various CAN bus interfaces to make them work - which equals more money
Anyway, the upshot of this is that I will now have my Phat Noise system to sell. I will pop this onto the for sale section in the next few days.

If its quality you want, theres only one place to go in melbourne
Phat Audio concepts in Braeside , Sam does an amazing job and its apparent from the second you start talking to him that he is super passionate about what he does.
he did my Bora a few months ago and did the best job, he is not one of these mind my french...."JB Hi Fi" type ****s (no offence to anyone that uses them) that do botch jobs with cheap wiring, you pay for it but I cannot recommend him enough. He has done my hubby's cars and friends cars for years and always wins comps with his work.

My system:
Pioneer 7in touch screen DVD/6 disc in dash (ipod cable run to console)
Alpine V12, 5 channel pro amp
Alpine 12 in Type R sub in custom box
Boston pros and Boston Rallys front and rear
^^Couldn't have said it better myself, cant wait to see what he does to his RX7 this time around, the last incarnation was insane!!
Has any1 got any installation pix from people in sydney cause ive seen mates get it done and ive had a look and its usually a pretty crappy job and dont use the wire they ask for and they dont use connectors and stuff.
I do all my own cars and ma mates cars and I know its cause im picky and usually doesnt make a difference but i always like to make sure that everything is terminated properly so you can always disconnect it easily if you have to and then cable tie everything up, or tape depending so its not a big mess. I know its bein picky but as they say if u want something done right do it urself lol and im just a pain in the a55 sometimes when it comes to this sorta stuff cause i like it to be perfect and ive found unless ur looking over the shoulder of the installer it usually doesnt get done properly and they short cut things and stuff.
Anyways thats my 2 bobs worth
Cheers
Alex
In Sydney,
I recommend Platinum Car Audio. They are gold in the car show scene and i've seen some amazing sound setup. The guys are awesome and always willing to help out with issues etc. To top it all of, one of the guys drives a jetta with pride.
fhrxstudios!!
prob 1 of the best in sydney!
Doran does good systems too, just their name make it sound like their dodgy but they sell great gear and make good systems

Another resounding vote for phatt out at braeside.
Both Sam and Brett are top blokes that have been very patient with me whenever i get a little excited about different ways of doing things. Brett does wear the brunt of my obscure requests though the poor bugger.
To top things off, they are very reasonable price wise, the work is absolutely top notch and the aftersale support is a thing of beauty.
Definately should be on your list if your getting an install done. My polo with the oz matrixs/boston g5 is sounding pretty bloody good these days thanks to their expertise.
Just a quick question for those who might know..
Where can I find me a Boston Acoustic dealer? I have had a look at their stuff and it might be worth checking out/testing? I'm gonna do the installation myself (waste of money..like kenny21 said, to do it right you gotta do it yourself) so I just need somewhere that sell Boston stuff
I think Louis recommends Lifestyle at North Parramatta. They're off Church Street near James Ruse Drive (the one where Hungry Jacks and ****smith's Powerhouse is located).
