Reboot RCD510

Does anyone know how to reboot a RCD510?

Pressing “<” + ">" + [Music Symbol] simultaneously sets it to Transport Lock mode.
Holding [Setup] goes into the Service mode.

But what is the reset sequence?

Edit: I've tried “<” + ">" + [Eject] and it's a no-go

hmmm...why do you want to reset it?

Without knowing the answer to the question, have you tried resetting/restoring factory default setting from the unit's menu?

Reboot sequence is always < + > + whatever button is next to the Eject button (different versions have different buttons here). Hold them down the same way you would use Ctrl+Alt+Del on a computer, but maybe hold them in for a bit longer (1 second).

hmm, doesn't the unit reboot each time you start the car when the car has been locked/idle for more than 20 minutes?


Otherwise check in the user manual. Or disconnect the battery if it's a one-off.

Thanks, I'll check it out later. Reason I ask is I've just got a VAGCOM cable from RT and just messing around with the radio.

Anyone know how.
