Rear View Camera only half opening

Hi Guys, I have a bit of a problem with my RVC.

As the title suggests my RVC (factory optioned) is only opening half way when I put the car in reverse. I can see only a tiny bit of whats behind me. From what I can see, it seems like the actual camera isn't fully rotating out. There doesn't seem to be any obstructions. It closes fine, but only seems to open half way.

There are no VCDS error codes, so I am assuming its a mechanical problem? Is there a way to adjust the camera angle or how far it goes out? I'm thinking not but if someone knows a VCDS setting let me know. I might pull the entire unit out and see whats going on if there isn't an easy fix

Unless you are technically minded (which I'm not) I wouldnt mess around with it.

If its your MY11 Golf, unless you've done over 100,000kms you should have factory warranty. Take it into the dealer and let them fix it.

Yeah I got it book in, earliest they can see it is 3 weeks time was hoping for an easy fix. Asked them if it would be done under warranty and they said depends on the problem. I guess its fair enough considering they haven't seen the car yet.
