RCD510 - High pitch buzz from the screen

Has anyone noticed a high pitched buzz coming from the RCD510 screen? Mine has this noise, but only when the screen brightness is set to Medium or lower. There is no noise when set to bright or higher.

A related question - is there a way to set the screen to turn off after a preset interval, even if the radio / CD is still on?

No don't think so.

But we can all try programming the wife or gf beside us to turn off the screen or their traps at preset intervals.

So no one has noticed this audible buzz from the RCD510 screen?

It is similar to dimmer switches - quite often they emit some sort of buzz when the lights are dimmed.
