RCD510 - CD Lock and Fade Control Issues

Hi guys,
Need some help. Got myself a bosch RCD510 to install into the R36. Anyhow, installing was a breeze. Radio works, steering wheel controls work, information works in the screen in the dash, what doesnt work is the CD player. I did a bit of searching and found out that it has some cd lock activated. The problem is that i know how to call the function up to turn it off, but when i press deactivate, it doesn't really do anything and i can't load any CD's. What am i doing wrong?
The other thing that i can't work out is the fact that there is no function for fader control. It has balance, and bass and treble etc, but no fader. What's going on?
Anyone a bit of an expert on this? It's driving me nuts! Thanks in advance.

Probably need VCDS to tell it you have a four speaker system. Is there a screw lock on those for shipping?
