Confirmed, need 190A model and it also depends what music player you're using too. Some don't send song meta data to the stereo.
Hi
I just installed a 9w7 bluetooth kit on my mk6 golf gti this weekend and got it coded.
Everything works except I cannot change tracks using my steering wheel controls or even the touchscreen on the rcd510 (they are greyed out). I have to use my phone. No track info appear on the rcd510 either.
Ive heard I need to have the 5K0035190A version of the head unit for track skipping to work. I currently have the 5K0035190.
Can anyone confirm that this is true?
Ive also seen a B version....what is the difference here?
Any help would be appreciated before I go an buy one of these other versions, then sell my current rcd510.
Cheers

Did you discovery what is difference between 190A and 190B except removed cd charer support and video input?
