Can someone help, please; Ive bought an aftermarket stereo to fit in my GTI MKV, I just need to know whether the stereo in these things are amplified or not ? Im trying to purchase a fitting kit for the new one and there's amplified and non amplified;

If anyone can shed any light, thatd be awesome

My MKV GTI had an amp under the pass seat. Approve of your new stance.

Ahhh ok - yes, I had a feel, there's something under there with wires, so that'd have to be it.

Yes, the stance, even though the drop is minor, it's rather noticeable ... stiffer shockies is needed for the track tho lol
