RCD310 Problems in MK VI 103 TDI

Car has the basic VW Bluetooth Kit and is paired with a Nokia N95.

Answered a call by pressing the phone button. RCD display shows "Phone" but no sound or microphone operating. Display just locks on "PHONE" . Stays on even after you turn off the ignition and leave the car (just checked 10 mins later).

Reversing sensors work and display on RCD310 but that display stays there (again after the car is turned off.

Same situation if you use the climate control AC dials.

Also iPOD with MDI not working through the RCD310.

Anyone had a similar problem or are we doomed to the rest of Easter without radio and bluetooth phone and a trip to the warranty men next Wednesday?

Dropped into the dealers Wednesday morning after Easter. Service all booked out till next week but the offer was made, "If you can leave it for the day, no promises but we may get a chance to look at it"

Left the car. Call from the dealer about 2.00 pm. "All fixed. First time we have seen this but service tech researched issue and found related service bulletin. Cured with a software upgrade".

Parking sensor display is now different in the RCD310 and everything else works.

I have given dealers heaps for slack service when they deserved it. This time they deserved the praise. Squeezed the car in to a fully booked service schedule, fixed the problem and returned the car washed after a wet and rainy Easter break in the Highlands.
